After 300+ DOORS runs, I've narrowed down the 5 absolute best loadouts depending on what you're playing. Most guides just list items — this one tells you EXACTLY which combos work together. Floor 100 specifically needs a different loadout than speedrunning Doors 1-50.

💼 The Beginner Loadout (Doors 1-100)
Items: Crucifix + Lockpick + Flashlight + Vitamins.
Crucifix kills any entity at point-blank range — Rush, Ambush, even Figure. Lockpick skips Door 50 puzzles. Flashlight reveals Hide and Figure positions. Vitamins boost sprint duration (essential for Seek chase).
This loadout costs ~600 Knobs total — affordable on your first paid run.
⚡ The Speedrunner Loadout
Items: Skeleton Key x3 + Vitamins + Lighter + Bandages.
Skeleton Keys instantly unlock ALL closet doors during Rush/Ambush — saving 5-10 seconds per encounter. Vitamins for sustained sprinting. Lighter reveals Eyes silently. Bandages for the Door 50 crash damage.
World record runs (sub-5 minute Hotel) use this exact loadout.
🏆 The Floor 100 Boss Loadout
Items: Crucifix + Revives x3 + Skeleton Key + Painkillers.
Crucifix is the ONLY item that can stun Figure for 5 seconds — enough time to find the Library codes. 3 Revives because Figure WILL kill you at least twice. Painkillers heal during the chase phase.
Skip Lockpick on Floor 100 — Library doors are puzzle-locked, not lockpick-able.
⛏️ The Mines Loadout (Floors 100-200)
Items: Modem + Flashlight + Sledgehammer + Lighter + Revives x2.
Modem PREVENTS A-200 spawn at Floor 200 — essential for completing Mines. Sledgehammer breaks rocks faster (saves 30+ seconds per cave). Lighter counters Blitz blackouts. Flashlight reveals Lookman before he sees you.
Costs ~1,500 Knobs but completing Mines unlocks rare cosmetics worth way more.
🎯 The Solo Hardcore Loadout
Items: Crucifix x2 + Lockpick + Vitamins + Lighter + Flashlight.
For players running solo (no team revives). Double Crucifix means you can take TWO emergency hits — one for Rush, one for Figure boss. Lockpick for closet trapping. Vitamins for chase escape. Both light sources for entity detection.
