DOORS Glitches Guide

Door-skip glitch: stand on the door knob, jump just as you turn it, and you can sometimes skip the loading animation entirely. Saves 1-2 seconds per door — adds up over 100 doors in a speedrun.

Wall-clip in closets: pressing W+A while entering a closet sometimes places you partially inside the wall texture. Doesn't help with gameplay but useful for hiding from Screech.

Rush stuck-spawn: if Rush spawns mid-door loading, occasionally he'll stay in the previous room. Don't hide — keep moving forward and he'll disappear.

Seek chase reset: jumping into a fall area during Seek chase sometimes resets his position back to start. Risky but works on Floor 50 chase.

Lockpick double-use: if you cancel a lockpick mid-animation (escape key), the lockpick sometimes doesn't consume from inventory but the door still unlocks. Patched in some updates but works again in current build.

Crucifix range bug: aiming Crucifix at a distance up to 30 studs sometimes works against entities outside normal range. Useful against Figure on Floor 100.

The world record for DOORS Hotel speedrun is under 5 minutes. Most of the time saved comes from optimal pathfinding (not glitches) but skip-doors and Rush stuck-spawn glitches can save 30-60 seconds combined.

Use the door-skip on multiplayer servers for higher success rate — single player has stricter physics.
